WHO ARE THE READERS?
As mentioned on the last page, Luce and Hadden disagreed on what type of magazine Time should be, due to the latter's jovial personality; after a while, however, they decided to compromise: Luce would write his daily events, and Hadden could write lighter fare. In this way, Time's intended audience could be seen as no one or everyone. The content of the magazine includes:
- Politics, national/international affairs, economy, and law for the grown men
- Books and celebrities for the kids
- Fashion and education for the women
- Religion, sports, entertainment, and films for the whole family
